a Friday off

Was a bit of a restless night last night for both Kit and I.  She hadn't stayed over anywhere for years, was used to being up all hours of the night, and found the bed too soft.  But the real hurdle was trying to remember the placement of a new layout so that she could navigate about the apartment without constant coaching We [ meaning I ] went to bed a little before 11PM.  I set up an audible book for her to listen to.  I was up and down during the night with my own usual potty calls, and once to help her because she got lost.  Finally around 6:30 AM I got up and she got up a little afterwards.  Gem offered to come over and bring the kids for a quick visit this afternoon, but Kit just wasn't up for it.  We got dressed, did some financials work, and I took her home The requests for an estate formation and for death certificates have started, Bryan let me know.  And Bob wrote a letter of condolence to Bryan and Chris, which was very nice of him We ...
