Traffic while driving into the office this morning was extremely light.   It always is  lighter on Fridays these days, for the most part, as anyone working a hybrid schedule prefers to work from home on Fridays, but today was unusual.  Seems the county's schools are closed to day for a "teacher professional day" as the third term exams are graded and report cards are drawn up.  Puts me in mind of just how anxious every kid is to grow up and get out of school, because when we are grown up, no one is going to make us do anything we don't want to do....

*looks around the empty office*  Yeah, like coming into the office when I am the only one here because we have to maintain the culture and demonstrate commitment to the company.  *sighs*  Oh well,  I have the music cranked up and I dressed a bit more casually than usual

And the best night of the week starts soon!  All hail Friday nights, when the entire weekend stretches before me....
