We are a small business with only eight employees.  Our office consists of six actual offices and two cubicles - both cubicles being occupied by Loan Servicing as lenders and credit analysists claim the offices.  

Thus far bossman has reluctantly agreed to a hybrid schedule - some working at home three days a week, some only two - and Wednesdays are a day that everyone is supposed to be here for company culture building and interaction.  Of course, that is subject to vacations and sick days and other plans, so in truth, so far this year, there have only been eight times we have actually managed that feat.  But the joke is?  when everyone is in the office 

What we have noticed since returning to the office on this hybrid schedule is how many times folks march into their offices - and firmly close the door.  This morning?  Literally every single office door was closed, and altho a couple people reopened them as afternoon approached, most remained closed.  So why did I haul my carcass into the office again?

And it is once again time for the EOM reconciliations and reports as a new month begins.  The weather is appropriate chilly, altho the windiness is a bit unusual .  The fact that Christmas is only 52 days away is starting to give me a slight feeling of panic, especially as merchants are beginning to talk about their Black Friday sales - I have no idea what to get the adults in my family!   I think I have my granddaughters done now....

And NO, just because Halloween is over, you do NOT start playing Christmas music until AFTER THANKSGIVING, thank you very much
