Today I was invited to participate in a ritual of long standing, familiar to every family, the introducing of a man your daughter [Frank's daughter who will be 60 this year] has been seeing to the family. Both he and she held up very well for the two hour luncheon as the chaos of having eight people [complete with a 10 year old and an 8 year old] in a sit down lunch in a busy local restaurant as the conversation ranged from questions to him about his job and how they met, to health issues suffered by varying family members, to eating habits, to visiting WDW, to my son-in-law's new job, to the differences in working hybrid schedules and going to work, to the proper order in which to watch the Star Wars movies, to childhood stories of getting lost, to Trekkies, and beyond.
The test will be if he agrees to be subjected to the whirlwind of the entire family ever again. He certainly seemed unfazed, which was a point very much in his favor.
And Triscuit is determined to enjoy her Cateruday, and I hope that you all enjoyed yours as well.
At least I don't have to face EOQ until Monday!
