Quote of the day:
"If you’ve never seen your image before, looking in a mirror you’d think you were gazing through a window, encountering someone altogether independent of you. But a mirror, like the mind, is reflective—it only shows you yourself.
~  Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, “Prayer: Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche

What I see in the mirror is not what I see when I look in a photograph of myself, never has been.  Had an amateur portrait photographer tell me once when I was in college, that the reason this is so is that my face is never still when I am being natural, and that I don't know how to do that when being photographed.

I'll have to take his word for it.  I just know I don't like 95% of the pictures I either take as a selfie or are taken of me.

Oh, and the construction folks figured it all out yesterday because when I came home from work, the parking had been shifted over

And on that note, I let another Saturday go....
